a miracle..@ 9th week

oh no! looks like dusts have been forming in this humble blog of mine.. well, here's a quick update. the lack of updates indicate that i have been busy... busy with all the sickness that are related to pregnancy. you know, the first trimester sickness that comes in a package.. nausea, vomitting, giddiness and what-have-yous.. it's really not a smooth journey..

on 21 Nov 09, at the gynae visit, we discovered to our surprise that i'm having twins!! you can say that really suprises us because as far as we know, none of us have got any twins in our history.. but lo and behold, after checks with my father in law, it seems his uncle (pak long) has a twin.. so i guess, Hub do have twin history afterall.. nevertheless, we are both thankful to ALLAH for this 'nawal (gift)'.. now, i just hope to be stronger to overcome everything that comes with a twin pregnancy as you probably know that carrying Twins means, more risks..

looks like my twins are Identical. they share the same waterbag and the same placenta and in this case, majority of Identical twins will not be of equal size, meaning, one will be heavier and bigger than the other. as of now, their length difference is at 2mm.. i just hope that they share their food equally and will not 'bully' each other in there.. =)

i'm very excited.. so are everyone at home.. =)

Ya Allah, this is a wonderful gift that you have present to us. Please let me have the strength to go through this and please make my babies healthy, insyallah..

of number 1 & 2

people say, there is a difference in every pregnancy and it is a whole new journey. in the stage that i am now, i have yet to experience the morning sickness, the nauseating and the aches which i did experience in the first trimester when i was pregnant with Daniyal.. due to that, i experienced weight loss in my first trimester with Daniyal..

apparently now, it's a whole new and different journey. Instead of the morning sickness, I have night sickness instead and I seldom experience any nauseating except when I am hungry. Talking about hunger, I do get hungry every 3hours.. and I discovered that Rhinitis is common in pregnancy too and yeah, I have that. I have very sensitive nose and will sneeze at any time.. this can cause my stomach to hurt and that's what worrying me. I hope my next visit, I'll get to ask my gynae and hopefully he has some remedy.

apart from that, i do get tired easily as compared to my first pregnancy. This is just the beginning. I hope to be better in my 2nd trimester onwards.

meantime, i'm looking forward to 21 Nov 09 for my next gynae visit =)

The SIGN

I called this, the HAPPY POSITIVE sign & a beginning to my another new journey.. initially, although excited, I tried to remain calm and control my excitement until my gynae confirms the pregnancy, the pregnancy kit as you know is only 99.9% accurate and there are other factors that may give a misleading result. I went to see my gynae on 4th Nov 09 and was elated when he confirmed my pregnancy to be in the 5th week. Since it is in the early stages, he prescribed folic acid as usual and Duphaston for me to take to help in strengthening the pregnancy.

I hope it'll be a smooth journey. Please pray for me and my baby's well being & Daniyal's already playing the cool and collected elder brother although he is more cranky now.. =)
